Frequently Asked

How do I apply for a property?
You can apply directly through our website. Just select the property you’re interested in and click “Apply Now.

Is there an application fee?
Yes, a non-refundable application fee applies. This covers credit, background, and rental history checks.

How long does the approval process take?
Most applications are processed within 2–3 business days, depending on how quickly references are returned.

Move-In

What funds are due at move-in?
Typically first month’s rent, security deposit, and any approved pet fees or deposits.

Do you allow pets?
Many of our properties are pet-friendly! Check the specific listing for details on breed restrictions and fees.

During Your Lease

How do I pay rent?
Payments can be made securely through the Resident Portal using bank transfer, debit, or credit card, and you can also set up convenient recurring auto-pay. While IPM does not accept cash directly, tenants can pay with cash at select convenience stores.

How do I submit a maintenance request?
Login to the Resident Portal and create a work order. Our maintenance team will coordinate with you. For emergencies, call our 24/7 maintenance line.

Who pays for utilities?
Utility responsibilities vary by property and are outlined in your lease.

Renewals & Move-Out

Will my rent increase at renewal?
We review rent annually based on market conditions. If there’s an increase, you’ll receive notice well in advance.

How much notice is required to move out?
Most leases require 60 days’ notice, but check your lease agreement to confirm.

When will I receive my security deposit back?
As long as the property is returned in good condition, your deposit will be refunded within the state-required timeline after move-out.
